In very small amounts, these elements are chelated to sugar molecules by covalent bonds. When these sugars are drawn into the cellular metabolism, the mineral, vitamin or nucleotide is pulled in. The Dr. Recommends oligos are made with all of the naturally occurring sugars such as glucose, sucrose, fructose, galactose, pentose, maltose and other saccharides in a glycerol base so they will be brought into the cell via all energy pathways. Oligos thus can be utilized to correct nutritional deficiencies, metabolic pathways, and energetic irregularities.
